Summer Challenge

I started this blog as a challenge to share my thoughts and words with others and not just to keep them to myself. I might influence someone with my words, I might not, but I think it will help me sharpen my writing skills. I’m already becoming a more honest writer and my fear of leaving my emotions naked is diminishing. I’m here for the world to critique but while I’m here I am also going to challenge myself to read at least two novels every week until the end of summer. That comes up to approximately 22 books if I start now. Feel free to join me. Also, you can leave book suggestions in the comments section.(I especially like fantasy but I am open to any genre suggestion once you think the book is a must read)

LET’S DO THIS!! * claps hands and does a jig *

I love that challenge! I may not not be able to do 2 novels a week... but I'm gonna shoot for one a week :).

My suggestions:
Are you there vodka? It's me, Chelsea - by Chelsea Handler

The Audacity of Hope - by Barack Obama

Happy reading :)

I've been wanting to do this but the discipline to read, *sigh* where oh where has it gone? I'll take up your challenge as soon as I'm done with summer school. It wont be a "Summer Challenge" but I want to make it a habit :D

I am so not a fan of books after getting bored reading any thing I could get my hands on when I was younger. I have recent read "Act like a lady, think like a man" by Steve Harvey though. He isn't so much of a great author, but I liked his perspective.
